Welcome to 'Your Average Stereotype'

Considering that this is my first instalment I suppose it makes sense to set a little background story for you.

Let's start with the basics...

Gay, Lesbians, Queer (whichever is you preferred term) soft butch lesbian…I’ll go with soft butch / tomboy because I grew my hair this year and sometimes I paint my nails which is the height of femininity for me. Love football, played for a few years and dreamt of growing up and being a professional footballer, in boy’s clothes from the age of 5, heavily linked to my awakening of the beautiful game, football again.

Cut all my hair off when I was 11 and instantly regretted it because, prepare yourself for an enormous shock, it did not make me look like a brooding Leonardo Dicaprio as I had hoped it would, I in fact had volunteered myself to be the world’s leading Aron Carter look-a-like, because I chickened out half-way through and settled for a "short bob" instead of the Leo curtains (now those of you of a certain age will have no idea what I’m talking about so I’ve kindly placed a picture for your enjoyment…I mean you’re welcome)

Around the same time as this, the first of many hair mistakes (we've all been there) I was big news on the dating scene of 9 years old, I had 2 boyfriends...I'll just leave that there, I clearly hadn't discovered the whole Gayyyyy thing yet, they liked football, I liked football, a match made in heaven if you will (did you see what I did there? haha thank you).

Join me next Friday when the hair gets shorter, cats come into play and I discover Bad Girls (bring it back!!) plus more embarrassing photos for your viewing pleasure.

Side Note: I'm wearing a plaid shirt whilst I type this! Own it Ladies!

Until next time, Ciao, all the best, cheers then, thanks a lot.

Lily x
